9 people with disabilities participate in a management course in Benidorm

This morning, the nine students of the 'Assistant of Administrative Procedures for People with Disabilities' course taught by Miguel Escalera Training and Employment Foundation (FOREM), linked to the Workers' Commissions union, paid a visit to Benidorm City Hall where, accompanied by their teacher, Juan Andrés López, have been received by the mayor, Toni Pérez; the Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez; and technical staff.

The training activity began on November 18 at the union headquarters on Beniardà Avenue and will continue until August 12. In total, students will receive 820 hours of training and, after completion, the corresponding official title.

The course aims to train for administrative tasks in both public and private companies. The subjects are focused on modules and at the end of the training, the students have been able to learn about aspects such as organization, human resources, administrative procedures, documentation management and communication, copies and archiving techniques.

This is the second visit that the students of the course make to the Town Hall. The first of them was to learn about the Employment and Local Promotion Agency (AEDL), and the functions it performs for the promotion of full employment in the city. On this occasion, the students have been able to tour the different municipal departments, the Plenary and Acts rooms and other dependencies, in addition, emphasis has been placed on the administrative tasks that are carried out in each of them.
