25N programming continues today with a talk on ‘Women and associations’

The municipal programming on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is celebrated on November 25, has continued today with a talk-conference by the psychologist Jessica Sanchís Buades under the title 'Women and associations '.
The conference took place in the Multipurpose Room of Torrejó Municipal Center, and in it Jessica Sanchís spoke about the origin of feminism in the 19th century and the demands that this movement has in the political, educational and labor fields. She has also told how female associationism arises in history and the strength of these movements.
Sanchís has advocated before those present for "working so that equal treatment occurs in all areas of life" and has stressed that the purpose of these activities is to "inform, advise, promote the exchange of experiences, sensitize and motivate the role of women in society ”.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, the Espai D'Art of the City Council will host at 11.30 am the opening of the poster exhibitions 'November 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Gifts' carried out by the students of the 2nd year of Artistic Bachelor of the IES Pere María Orts. The sample will be installed until December 7. That day, at 7:00 p.m., the theatrical performance of the play ‘A vueltas con la vida’ will take place in the Assembly Hall of Benidorm City Council, with free admission.
On Thursday 25, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the commemorative banner will be displayed on the balcony of the City Hall at ten in the morning. At noon, the municipal radio station ‘Onda Benidorm’ will carry out the program ‘Femenino singular’, in which the manifesto will be read. In the afternoon, at 5.30 pm, the local march against Gender Violence will be held, promoted by the Benidorm Housewives Association, which will start at Plaza de Sus Majestades los Reyes de España.
