The 20th Benidorm International Tourism Forum (XXFITB) will be held on December 2 and 3, 2020

Promoted by "Pedro Zaragoza Orts" Chair of Tourism Studies of the University of Alicante, Benidorm City Council, Costa Blanca Board, Tourism of the Valencian Community, Benidorm Tourism Foundation and HOSBEC, the Forum has been developed, since its inception in 1995, every two years and has addressed different fundamental issues for the planning and management of tourist destinations and companies in the Valencian Community.

This year the Forum celebrates its XX EDITION and once again reinvents itself to adapt to the situation experienced in recent months, increasing its dissemination thanks to its online mode that will allow the development of the Forum to be followed via streaming.

With a program that aims to analyze how sustainable tourism can promote the Sustainable Development Goals with health safety as a new value on the rise, the Forum will have four thematic tables (alliances to achieve the objectives in a post-COVID-19 scenario, water and sea, climate action and affordable and non-polluting energy) where businessmen and professionals in the management and direction of tourist destinations and establishments will dialogue and present their experience to achieve the objectives in a post-COVID-19 scenario.
