Detailed information on the processing of your personal data
Data Controller. You are hereby informed that your personal data, and where applicable, the data of the person you represent, will be processed by the Benidorm City Council (Data Controller), with Tax Identification Number (CIF) P-0303100B, and address at Plaza SSMM los Reyes de España, 03501, Benidorm, Alicante; and incorporated into the "Complaints and Suggestions" processing system.
Data Protection Officer. Benidorm City Council has appointed a Data Protection Officer, whose contact details are: dpd@benidorm.org.
Purposes. Your personal data will be processed for the following purposes:
- To process requests submitted regarding complaints or suggestions to improve the service provided by the Benidorm Local Police, as well as to analyse and record them.
- To carry out all notifications or communications necessary for the management of submitted complaints and suggestions.
Legal basis. The processing of this data may be based on:
- Compliance with a legal obligation of the data controller in accordance with Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations and Law 8/2010, of June 23, on the Local Government System of the Valencian Community.
- The performance of a task carried out in the public interest: Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Government System.
Category of personal data. The data controller will process identifying data of the data subject, such as name and surname, National Identity Document/Identification Document, address, date of birth, email address, signature, and telephone number.
Retention period. The data will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and to determine any potential liabilities that may arise from said purpose and the processing of the data. The provisions of the regulations on archives and documentation will apply.
Recipients. The data may be transferred to all public administrations that, pursuant to Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, request the interested party's information for consultation, verification, or use. Where appropriate, it may also be transferred to the State Security Forces and Corps, as well as to the Courts and Tribunals. The data will be incorporated into the VINFOPOL file of Benidorm Local Police.
International transfers. No international transfers of data are planned.
Automated decisions. No automated decisions are made.
Exercise of rights. To exercise your rights under data protection regulations (access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, data portability, as well as the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing of your data, where applicable) regarding the processing of your personal data, you may write to Benidorm City Council at its postal address or send an email to dpd@benidorm.org, attaching a copy of your national identity document or equivalent identification. You may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe your request has not been properly addressed.
