The Department of Youth, directed by Jaime Jesús Pérez, has launched its ‘Summer 2020’ activity aimed at minors between 10 and 16 years old and which will take place every fortnight during the months of July and August. The councillor explained that "for 'Summer 2020' very varied activities are scheduled such as workshops, cultural outings, emotional intelligence activities and related to the environment, sports, games, hiking, cooking, learning German, board games and role, and cineforum, among others ”. "We want the mornings of the participants to be multidisciplinary, entertaining, to awaken their motivation and creativity, and to combine leisure and knowledge," he added.

Pérez recalled that this activity aims "as in previous years, to facilitate and allow the reconciliation of work and family of the parents of Benidorm", although this 'Summer 2020' may “be an extra incentive for minors, who after several months of confinement with hardly any social interaction are going to have a meeting, learning and fun space in a totally safe environment ”.

‘Summer 2020’ will be articulated in several biweekly periods: from July 6 to 17, July 20 to 31, August 3 to 14 and August 17 to 28. The cost of the fortnight will be 25 euros, with the possibility of choosing as many shifts as desired, and the hours from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 14.30.
