- About us
BFO is a free service offered by Benidorm City Council to professionals in the audiovisual sector to manage filming and photography permits that are shooted in municipal spaces or on public roads.
- Where are we?
At SSMM los Reyes de España Square, at the Town Hall building, third floor.
- What do we offer?
We advise about locations by phone or email and manage all permits coordinating each of the municipal departments involved in a shooting or photoshooting.
- What filming permit should I ask?
We have two types of permits:
General Permit ... to record throughout the city without having to reserve spaces or interrupting the passage of pedestrians or cars.
Special permit ... if you need to reserve space for a cover set, free of people and vehicles, or to park production vehicles, special hours, traffic cuts, police presence, etc. Ask us first.
- How do I process it?
If you are only going to shoot, without having to reserve spaces, and your production team is less than 5 people, fill in the corresponding application and we will send you the authorization.
If your production team is +5 people, fill out the application and autolyquish the fee. Upon receipt of your receipt ???? of payment we will send you the authorization.
If you need to reserve space in any location, or your production involves other needs, fill out the Special Permit application and follow the steps.
- How do I process it?

If your production team is +5 people, fill in the application form and pay the fees on the Website. When we get the receipt of your payment we will send you the authorization.

- How much does it cost to record in Benidorm?
Exemptions: some productions are free: the news, documentaries, practices of students, institutions and non-profit associations.
Fees: Tax Ordinance No. 3 establishes 108.18 € per day, the tax for shooting in public spaces.
For space reservations, the fence for reserving the space is 50€ and the space reservation 1.50€ per linear meter / day.
- What is it allowed to do?

- Is the filming insurance compulsory?
Civil liability insurance is obligatory and in some cases an insurance that covers the municipal facilities that can be used as a location.
