Pluto Street, change of traffic direction

Benidorm City Council changed the direction of traffic on Calle Plutón – Calle Virgen de la Merced on Tuesday, July 14th, to improve traffic flow in the area affected by the ongoing roadworks on Avenida Jaime I.

With this change, the street now runs one-way towards Avenida Jaime I, creating a new exit for vehicles from the city centre onto one of the city's main thoroughfares.

This modification allows for a better distribution of traffic and alleviates the congestion that was concentrated at the exit points on Jaime I and Tomás Ortuño, thus helping to improve traffic flow while the roadworks continue.
