Three students from Benidorm carry out their internships in the Smart Office

Three second-year students of the Degree in Interactive Technologies of the Polytechnic University of Valencia are carrying out their internships in the Benidorm Smart Office thanks to a collaboration agreement with the City Council to promote the 'Benidorm Showcase' sharing spaces. This was announced by the Councilor for Innovation, Aida García Mayor.

The students Laura Gavilán, Hugo Martín, and Paula Ramiro, all three from Benidorm, have benefited from the UPV 2023 Scholarships, an initiative of the university that seeks to "promote the employability of its students and improve their digital skills", Garcia Mayor pointed out. To this end, internships are promoted, "in this case at Benidorm City Council".

The mayor specified that the students will work "20 hours a week, for two months" and that they will receive 800 euros gross. "Thanks to the DTI -García Mayor specified- Benidorm attracts attention, positions itself as a benchmark in innovation, value the university and attracts technological talent".
