Benidorm City Council will study the possibility of establishing a viable alternative to the current location
Street Cleaning discusses with residents of La Cala the improvement of waste container locations
Benidorm City Council's Department of Street Cleaning has begun a series of meetings with residents of La Cala, specifically those on Avilés and Asturias streets, to determine the best location for some waste collection containers.
The first meeting took place last Friday during the "A pie de calle" campaign's visit to La Cala. There, the Councillor for Street Cleaning, Luis Navarro, met the vice presidents of the Neighbourhood Council, Antonio Zamora and Francisco Martínez, who presented the proposals submitted by the residents.
Navarro listened to the residents' suggestions, but explained that "before deciding to change the location of any container, it is necessary to study a viable alternative with the concessionary company and the technicians. This alternative would improve the current location without affecting the collection route, while maintaining the same level of service that residents currently receive."
