Serra Gelada Primary School stages the granting of the Benidorm Charter as part of the 700th anniversary celebrations

This Friday, at the end of the school year, Serra Gelada Primary School recreated the granting of the Town Charter of Benidorm by Admiral Bernat de Sarrià, which took place on May 8, 1325, the 700th anniversary of which this year marks the school's commemoration.
The ceremony, which took place in the school's auditorium before an audience of parents and teachers, was attended by the Councilors for Education, Historical and Cultural Heritage, and Festivals: Maite Moreno, Ana Pellicer, and Mariló Cebreros, other members of the council, and the president of the Charter of the Town Group of the Verge del Sofratge Association and Benidorm councilor, Mª Luz Navarro.
The activity served to introduce students to Benidorm's history in an educational and participatory manner and is part of the educational and cultural initiatives promoted by the City Council during the city's 700th anniversary year.
