Pacte per l’Ocupació de la Marina Baixa (POMB) has organised four training workshops that will take place in September and October in Benidorm. All workshops will last three hours, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will be held in the city’s Municipal Library, located at Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España.
The first of these will take place on September 19th with the name ‘Find a job with your mobile’. It will address issues such as preparing and storing CVs, job portals, selection processes and networking.
The rest of the workshops will take place in October. On Friday the 4th, the workshop ‘Capsule wardrobe and personal style. Successfully passing a job interview’ will be held, in which body language techniques and how to face a job interview will be offered. On the 30th, the workshop ‘How to become self-employed’ will show aspects related to procedures, financing accounts or taxation for entrepreneurs. Finally, on October 31st, the workshop ‘Creating my brand’ will be held, in which it will explain how to define a professional profile, build our presence and promote it on social networks.
These courses will also be replicated in other towns in the Marina Baixa, as explained by the POMB. In addition, some municipalities in the region will have a workshop called ‘Social and emotional skills to find a job’.
