Dance academies and the municipal conservatory join forces to revive this activity after almost three decades
Nearly a thousand people enjoy a first-class evening with 'Benidorm en dansa'

Around a thousand people gathered last night at Julio Iglesias Auditorium in l'Aigüera Park to enjoy a first-class evening of dance with the show "Benidorm en dansa," an event organised by the Department of Culture of Benidorm City Council, which revives this initiative that was discontinued almost three decades ago.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, along with the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, and other representatives of the municipal council, yesterday supported the students and teachers from all the local dance academies and the Municipal Elementary Dance Conservatory, who starred in the evening and offered a varied repertoire of choreographies and styles, from classical ballet to modern dance, boogie, flamenco, and contemporary, which drew thunderous applause from the audience.
The mayor congratulated Jaime Jesús Pérez for reviving this "Benidorm en dansa" (Benidorm in Dance) and thanked the academies and schools of Pilar Segura, Paqui Mora, Lope de Vega, Rosa Martínez, María José Moya, Boogie Block, and the Municipal Conservatory for their "involvement and commitment in making this event possible."
