Nearly 100 schoolchildren from Benidorm participate in environmental activities in El Moralet

Cerca de un centenar de escolares de Benidorm realizan actividades medioambientales en El Moralet

Nearly one hundred Benidorm schoolchildren are participating in environmental activities in El Moralet Park, recently recognised with the "Blue Path" distinction by the Association for Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC). These orientation and environmental activities have been designed and taught by students of the "T'Avalem Benidorm Sostenible" employment and training program, specifically by the group studying "Environmental Interpretation and Education."

The Councilor for the Environment and Employment and Local Promotion, Mónica Gómez, explained that "with this initiative, we achieve a triple objective: we increase the range of outdoor activities that the City Council makes available to Benidorm's educational centers; we promote awareness and protection of our green spaces and areas among the younger population; and we enable students of the "Benidorm Sostenible" program to put into practice everything they learned during the theoretical training period, with a real-life use case."

Yesterday, Tuesday, 48 fifth-grade students from El Murtal Primary School participated in this activity, while on Friday, 49 students from the fifth and sixth grades of Bautista Lledó Primary School.
