Meeting in Benidorm of fretted instruments schools in the Marina Baixa

The temple, practically full, has proposed, once again, a cultural event open to the public attended by the department councilor, Jaime Jesús Pérez and other members of the Corporation; the Queens Angélica Morenilla and Daniela Talavera; the president of the Commission, Vicente Solaz, and that of 'La Barqueta', Francisco Llorens, 'Paco Rosera'.

The School of the Fretted Orchestra instruments of Ateneu Musical de la Vila Joiosa, under the direction of Fernando Fernández, performed the 'pasodoble' 'Ecos del albaicín', by Camilo Cano; Goodbye Paris and libertango', by Astor Piazzolla; and a selection of songs by Nino Bravo.

For its part, Rondalla School of 'La Barqueta' performed with 'El castillo ambulante', by Joe Hisaishi; 'El regalo de boda', by Reveriano Soutullo and Joan Vert; 'Andante cantable' by Piotr Ilich Chaikowski, under the baton of José Antonio Pastor Ruiz.

Finally, both formations joined their instruments with 'La vida es bella', by Nicolo Povani, 'Marco Polo', by Lorena Mckennitt, and 'Marchinha de carnaval', by Celso Machado.
