Perro, Amatria and La Plata complete this first batch of national names, to which The Chemical Brothers and Phoenix are joined
Izal, La Bien Querida and Javiera Mena lead the six new confirmations for Low Festival
One more year, Low Festival bet to brighten the Night of Kings with a day in advance. The Kings Lowers have already arrived and have left six new confirmations for the Low Festival 2018: the nationals Izal, La Bien Querida, Perro, Amatria and La Plata, and Javiera Mena at the international level.
Izal is one of the biggest names in the country. A band that has grown in parallel to Low Festival and that, therefore, could not miss the 10th anniversary of the Benidormese event. It will be the only date for the presentation of "Autoterapia", his highly anticipated new work, in the province of Alicante.
Who has published a new album in the final section of 2017 is La Bien Querida. "Fuego" marks the umpteenth great album for the project by Ana Fernández-Villaverde, with songs like "7 días juntos" or "Dinamita", highlighted by the press as new bulwarks of her career along with the already mythical "9.6", " I Die of Love "u" Today ".
Javiera Mena is back with "Dentro de ti", a single in which her electronic pop, as danceable as ever, delves into new sounds, like the Balearic. He will arrive at Low Festival 2018 to demonstrate, as he did in the 2016 edition, why he is the great Chilean independent pop star.
Others with new material in 2018 are Perro. The quartet Murcia is about to publish "Tropic Lumpen", a new album for which they have had the same masterizer as artists of the likes of Courtney Barnett or King Gizzard. Their new songs promise to offer those touches of absurd humor and kraut sounds that characterize them.
Amatria will debut next July in Low Festival. Joni Antequera has reached its climax with "Algarabía", an album in which her self-parochial and melancholic lyrics have found the perfect marriage in dance music and Latin rhythms.
This round of confirmations closes one of the national revelations of last 2017. The Valencian La Plata have placed "A Jam" among the best songs of 2017 thanks to a round pop melody and its undeniable nerve punk. They will be one of the new values of # Low2018.
