Companies and dealers explain to attendees their efforts to reuse, reduce and recycle waste
Great coverage of the Recycling Festival

Benidorm City Council celebrated World Recycling Day today, Saturday, with the organisation of the "1st Recycling Festival." An activity that took place throughout the morning on Calle Alcalde José Such and was well-attended by residents and visitors.
This event was created to raise awareness among residents of the work carried out throughout the year by the City Council, its concessionaire companies, and collaborating companies in promoting recycling and benefiting the environment, as well as the significant efforts made by all parties involved in these processes. The Mayor, Toni Pérez, visited the stands accompanied by the Councillors for the Environment, Water Cycle, and Street Cleaning, Mónica Gómez, José Ramón González de Zárate, and Luis Navarro, with other members of the local government.
This Recycling Festival featured companies, organisations, and concessionaires such as Hidraqua, FCC, Ecovidrio, Actúa, Consorci Mare, and the "Mundo Circular" project of Ecoembes and the Generalitat Valenciana. All of them had a tent or stand where they explained to attendees the activities they carry out to promote reuse, reduction, and recycling.
There were also environmental educators to address any questions they might have about recycling, as well as environmental educators from the concessionaire Hidraqua, who offered demonstrations on the water cycle and habits that should be eliminated from daily use, such as flushing sanitary wipes down the toilet.
