Commerce completes the fencing of the northern part of Mercasa site

The Department of Commerce has completed the fencing of the northern part of Mercasa site, where the municipal market is held every Wednesday. The councillor of the department, Lorenzo Martínez, explained that "this action has a double function, since on the one hand it improves and facilitates access control and capacity on market days, and on the other hand it prevents pedestrians from circulating on the streets. landscaped areas thus avoiding possible falls and reducing the deterioration of these green spaces ”.

In addition, this 126 linear meter fence facilitates and orders the pedestrian flows of people who come to the market grounds and those who go to the sports facilities.

Martínez recalled that in February of last year the main façade of the enclosure, in front of the Foietes Park, was already perimeter, thus improving security, accessibility and also the aesthetics of the enclosure.
