Education is finalizing the official list of beneficiaries, just over 650 schoolchildren born in 2019, 20 and 21 enrolled in Pre-primary Education
Benidorm launches aid for the purchase of school supplies for 2nd cycle of Pre-primary students, which will be 63 euros
One more year, the Department of Education will grant the purchase of school supplies for students in the 2nd cycle of Pre-primary Education in public schools and the catholic school in Benidorm, aimed at families registered in the city. For the third consecutive year, “the maximum aid per minor will be 63 euros; an amount with which the City Council contributes to reducing the disbursement of supplies that families have to make in this educational cycle,” as indicated by the councillor for the department, Maite Moreno.
Moreno has highlighted that "this grant for the acquisition of school supplies is one of the lines of direct support for families promoted by the Department of Education and, probably, the one that reaches the largest number of beneficiaries."
As in previous years, "to simplify families' access to this grant as much as possible, the Department of Education is preparing a first remittance for beneficiary students, which will include all minors born in the years 2019 and 2020 who already enjoyed this grant in the 2023/2024 school year.” This first remittance will include more than 650 minors and will be published next week.
Moreno has advanced that "in the coming weeks this first remittance will be published and approved and the deadlines for collecting the vouchers will be published, which will be delivered throughout the summer and which will be exchangeable in the establishments adhering to this call for aid until the November 15 of this year.”
Likewise, the councillor has reported that "the application deadline for students who are still studying this course and did not obtain aid last year is now open, starting today, April 8." The application can be submitted until September 30, at 3:00 p.m., at https://sede.benidorm.org. Once inside, you must access the 'Catalog of services' and click 'Aid for School Materials 2nd cycle of Early Childhood Education. For this procedure, it will be necessary to have the Cl@ve identification method or digital certificate. For those born in 2021, who begin school in September, the period will be from July 1 to September 30.
For those people who have difficulty completing the procedure or do not have electronic means, an assistance point will be set up in the Department of Education. The applicant must provide the Cl@ave identification method (pin or permanent).
The City Council has reserved an amount of 71,000 euros for this grant.
