Youth celebrates the third edition of the 'Youth Forum' to debate the needs and problems of young people in Benidorm
Today, Friday, the Youth Department of Benidorm City Council held the third edition of the Youth Forum, an activity that took place in the press room of the City Hall to consolidate “a place for meeting and debate, on an annual basis, on the needs, problems and collection of opinions of the young people of Benidorm”, as explained at the inauguration by the Councilor for Youth, Ana Soliveres.
A meeting indicated the councillor, that seeks to “encourage the participation and involvement of young people in the development of local policies in this area.”
In this Young Forum, different working groups have been formed in which problems and/or needs have been addressed with their possible solutions or suggestions. Thus, the working groups have analyzed issues such as communication and networks, autonomy, youth in action, participation and commitment. For its organization, associations and entities have been involved from the beginning, as well as interested young people.
The Forum began at 6 p.m. with the reception and welcome to attendees and then addressed the Benidorm Youth plan. Afterwards, the working groups were formed and at 7:30 p.m. the conclusions were presented before the closing of the Forum.
