Veinte jóvenes de 15 países participan en el ‘Lions Costa Blanca Camp’ que se celebra en Benidorm

The Assembly Hall of the Benidorm City Council has hosted the opening event of the 'Lions Costa Blanca Camp' which brings together twenty young people from 15 countries to exchange experiences to promote understanding, dialogue and peace in the world. The acting mayor, Ana Pellicer, received the participants yesterday in the Mayor's office, during a visit that the young people made to the Benidorm Town Hall hours before the official opening of the 'Camp'. In it, Pellicer welcomed the campers to the city and encouraged them to “enjoy some magnificent days of coexistence” in our city.

In the afternoon, the participants in this international meeting arrived in a parade to the City Hall, around seven thirty young people, carrying the flags of their countries. Already in the assembly hall, the councillor of Social Welfare, Ángela Zaragozí, along with other members of the Corporation and representatives of the Lions Club, presented the commemorative pennants and badges before officially opening this new edition of the 'Lions Costa Blanca Camp'.

'Lions Costa Blanca Camp' takes place in Benidorm between July 15 and 29. Throughout these days the campers will carry out tours and tourist and cultural activities both in the city and in different locations around us. Among them, are the Tossal de La Cala de Benidorm site, the Les Caletes Tower, the Cross, the old town and the theme parks. Outside of Benidorm, they will visit places such as Castell de Guadalest, Fonts d'Algar in Callosa d'en Sarrià or Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències de València.
