The auditorium of Benidorm Cultural Centre will host the theatrical performance "Let's Make a Deal" on September 13th, in which actress Petra Martínez will revisit the texts that have most influenced her life. These include works by authors such as Benedetti, Neruda, Lorca, Amado Nervo, and Joaquín Dicenta. She will be accompanied by the music of maestro Víctor Carbajo on piano and baritone Luis Santana. The performance will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will last approximately 85 minutes.

Benidorm City Councillor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez, announced that tickets for this performance are on sale at www.vivaticket.es for €4, and noted that this is a date "with one of the great actresses of our country." The councillor explained that this production is an introspective show, with a staging that "includes poems and songs by various authors, creating an intimate and very emotional atmosphere." Therefore, he invited residents and visitors to "buy their tickets and come enjoy this show."

Petra Martínez (Linares, 1944) has had an intense career in theatre, film, and television. Some of her most notable titles include "Bad Education" (2004), "Night of the Sunflowers" (2006), and "Solitude" (2008), by Jaime Rosales, which won an award at the 22nd Goya Awards. In 2022, she and her husband, Juan Margallo, received the National Theatre Award.

Regarding her accompaniment in this show, Luis Santana has a long career, having performed in the most important theatres and concert halls in Spain. He has also given concerts in cities such as Rome, Paris, Milan, Naples, Toulon, Bucharest, Donetsk, Iasi, Brasov, Riga, Porto, Lisbon, and Vienna. Víctor Carbajo is a prolific pianist and composer, having given concerts both in Spain and in numerous concert halls and cities abroad. He currently combines this artistic career with his teaching work at the Katarina Gurska School of Music.
