Alumnos de los Talleres de Empleo de Benidorm y de la Ribera Baixa comparten experiencias

A total of ten people complete their training and receive the official minimum wage

The students of the Employment Workshops Benidorm V and the Municipalities of the Ribera Baixa have shared experiences in a day of exchange in which they have participated, together with the head of this municipal area, Mª Jesus Pinto, both management and teaching teams.

Pinto said that this day "is designed to exchange information and knowledge between both training projects, which share certificates of professionalism: 'Auxiliary Operations of Administrative Services' and 'General, and Administrative Activities in Relation to the Customer.'" Likewise, he has been confident that "from this experience, ideas may arise that benefit both workshops and can be transferred to other formative projects in the future."

Throughout the day, the participants have taken a tour through the different jobs in which the students-workers of the Employment Workshops Benidorm V, municipal areas and administrative extensions work. Likewise, they have been able to get to know the municipal facilities of the Training Center for Employment 'Pepita Puchades', dependent on the Department of Employment, place of exchange of experiences and where work groups are set up. The students of the Ribera Baixa have also had time for a guided tour around the city.

The Employment Workshop Benidorm V occupies 10 people who receive a monthly remuneration equivalent to the Minimum Interprofessional Salary: 655.20 euros. They began on December 29, 2016 and will run until December 28. It is a project funded by the Conselleria de Economía Sostenible, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor, which contributes with 86.3% of the total budget of the project: € 214,963.60, the remaining amount (€ 29,500) will be paid by the townhall.
