La recreación 'Operación Avalanche' y el 'Salto Paracaidista' ponen el punto y final a los acto de la XIII Edición de "Revive una historia... de cine"

This Sunday, September 30 was the third and final day of the program 'Benidorm Day-D' with the recreation of Avalanche Mission : The Allied Invasion and the exhibition of parachute jumps by members of the Parachute school "Méndez Parada" of the Air Force on Poniente beach.

The beach of Poniente in Benidorm was full of neighbors and tourists who did not want to miss the chance to see in action the historic recreation in which the Allied troops defeated in which there was a landing made by a military boat of the 40s that simulated the arrival of the allied troops of Americans and British to the coasts of Italy on September 3, 1943, being expected by Italians and Germans.

The event has been developed thanks to the work of the figures of the Codex-Beliox Association, with the collaboration of the Association of Neighbors of Poniente, the City of Benidorm and the Ministry of Defense with the Sub-delegation of Government.

After the recreation the members of the Parachute School "Méndez Parada" of the Air Force made an exhibition, arrived by air to land at an exact point, within the beach, a few meters from the beginning of Paseo de Poniente. The eleven members of the Sewer School that participated, were launched from a height of 1,000 meters with their parachutes, carrying different flags of Spain and the Army.
