Presentation to the Mare de Déu of the members of the Committee who will organize the Benidorm Festivals in 2024

The Committee of Festes Majors Patronals of 2024, chaired by María Dolores Cano, presented this morning to the Mare de Déu del Sofratge, patroness saint of Benidorm, in a mass celebrated in Sant Jaume i Santa Anna Church.

The councillor of Fiestas, Mariló Cebreros, and other members of the Municipal Corporation have accompanied the more than 70 new members who will organize next year's festivities, in a religious event that has also been attended by the queens of the Major Patron Festivities, Angélica Morenilla Such and Daniela Talavera Ventura, along with their courts of honour; and members of the also new board of directors of Associació de Penyes Verge del Sofratge, led by its president, Jaume Cortés.

The new Comissió runs the bar installed at the Christmas Square to raise funds.

Likewise, its mayorals are already working on the organization of the first of the great festive events of the year, such as the Election and Coronation of the next queens of the Patron Major Festivities, which will take place on January 14.
