Open the period to apply for direct aid to nightlife
The deadline to request municipal aid to minimize the impact of Covid-19 in the nightlife sector remains open. The councilor for Employment and Local Promotion, Mónica Gómez, recalled that this call is financed through a grant from Alicante Provincial Council of about 300,000 euros and provides aid of up to 3,000 euros per establishment.
Gómez has encouraged "companies and freelancers in the sector to participate in this line of aid with which we intend to contribute to minimizing the effects that the pandemic has had and continues to have on this nightlife sector which, at this time, its activity is also limited due to the latest measures and restrictions issued by the Generalitat Valenciana.
The councilor has detailed that SMEs, micro-SMEs and the self-employed in the sector with fiscal domicile in Benidorm can apply for these aids and that "between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021 they have reduced the monthly average billing by at least 25% compared to the monthly average of 2019 ”.
The grants can be requested and processed until 11:59 p.m. next Friday, August 6, on the website https://sede.benidorm.org, where the full content of the bases can also be consulted.
Broadly speaking, the bases establish that companies or freelancers who have a valid municipal opening license and are registered in one of the following sections can apply for this direct aid: 1.2.5. / 2.7.1. / 2.7.2. / 2.7.3. / 2.7.4. / 2.7.6.
The eligible items for these grants include expenses such as the self-employed fee, the monthly rent for the establishment, advisory and consultancy expenses and those related to energy, water, telephone, internet, security or maintenance contracts. Also, those related to loans for the acquisition of the business premises, its insurance, or those derived from the rental or acquisition of vehicles 100% related to the activity.
