'Ni pa tu ni pa mi' win the Adult Playback contest

29 October 2017
Ni pa tu ni pa mi gana del concurso de Playbacks Adulto

Paparinell wins first prize in the Kids category

Peña Ni pa tu ni pa mi obtained last night the first prize of the Adult Playback Contest organized by the Penyes Verge Association of the Sofratge, which was held in the auditorium Julio Iglesias of the Park of l'Aigüera. With their recreation of the show The Hole - renamed 'The Joul' for the occasion - the members of Ni pa tu ni pa enthused the peñistas and the public in general, and achieved the first prize of 1,200 euros.

The second position, and the 800 euros of the prize, went to Peña El Parotet, who versioned some of the most listened songs of the summer as 'El Despacito' or 'Take me the radio' to refer to the difficulties of the rocks to find local and meet the rents.

The merger of Tot Previst and Ompli El Got clubs won the third prize - with 600 euros - with a stage designation entitled 'Alfa Paradise'. The Tossal and its Victoria's Secret parade won the fourth prize - valued at 400 euros - while Bonnie M of Sense Res was placed in fifth position -300 euros.

In the Playbacks Infantiles, the winner was the Paparinell rock. The smaller ones of the club recreated the subject 'Bang, bang' of Ariadna Grande, Jessie J and Nicki Minaj becoming the winners of the 500 euros of the first prize.

The second prize was for the club Quatre Gats and his 'Thriller'; while 'The book of the jungle' of the club Parotet achieved the third position and a prize of 400 euros. The fourth place and the 200 euros of the prize went to El Cranc, and 100 euros took the children of the Penya Geperuts.

Out of competition could be seen the playbacks played by the ladies and queens of the Major Patron Festivities Holidays. The children's ladies opted for a playback based on the soundtrack of the film Tadeo Jones, and the older ones put in scene 'My girl'.

The mayor, Toni Pérez; the councilman of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles; the queens of the Major Patron Festivities, Àngela Antón and Anna Galiana; the presidents of the Comissió and the Association of Penyes, Antonio Vicente Fuster and Mariano Nájera; and the director of Los 40 Benidorm, Baldomero Jiménez, were in charge of delivering the prizes to the participating clubs.

The Day of the Clubs started in the morning with the traditional peñista breakfast in the House of the Fester. From there, at 0915 hours and in parades, the Board of Directors of the Association, chaired by Mariano Najera, moved to the church of St. James and Santa Ana, where at 10.00 a Mass was officiated in honor of the Virgin of the Sufragio and the dead members of the club.

Just a half hour later, a new edition of the Gymkana, organized this year by La Foscor - winners last year - was inaugurated in the Julio Iglesias auditorium in the Parque de l'Aigüera, and in which the 24 participating clubs had to deploy their ingenuity and grace to complete the different tests of the competition. The first prize went to the Ni pa tu ni pa club, which next year will be in charge of organizing the Gymkana.
