The department of Public Security has restructured the organization of the local branch of Civil Protection volunteers according to a criteria of efficiency and serving suggestions and indications of technicians and volunteerism.
In a meeting held by the councillor of the area Lorenzo Martínez, with members of the group, it has been structured the organization of the group which will improve the efficiency and coordination.
Lorenzo Martínez spoke with the group of volunteers and reminded them that the service "results directly in security and protection provided to our citizens and over 11 million visitors we receive" . He defended the Council's commitment to the Association and its commitment to "improving basic training for all members," he announced the forthcoming approved courses and a campaign to attract new volunteers.
