More than 250 swimmers participate in the II Heartbreak Crossing to Levante beach of Benidorm
The second edition of the Heartbreak Crossing to swim to Levante Beach, organized by the Sports Club Finisher with the collaboration of the Department of Sports, was held this morning in Benidorm. 259 swimmers, from four different categories, have taken the start around 9.00 in the morning, from the municipal building of El Torrejó and have covered the 2,900 meters of the test with a calm sea, ideal for the practice of this specialty sporty.
The first swimmers began to reach the finish line with seconds remaining to reach 40 minutes. The mayor, Toni Pérez, participated in the ceremony of trophies; the ediles of Sports and Youth, Arturo Cabrillo and Ana Pellicer (who have also swum the test), and the companions of Bernardo Mira and Rafael Gasent.

In the men's category Miguel Bou (Independiente) has won the trophy, with a time of 39 minutes and 17 seconds, followed by Jonas Marín (Finisher CD) and Javier Cáceres (CNS Oriol Imperial). In the women's category, the first to arrive was Eliana Krits Sotelo (CD Aguaviva Benidorm), with a time of 43 minutes and 34 seconds. Next came Julia Beneto (Independiente) and Isabel Hernández (Independiente).
In the Men's Master B category, Jonas Marín (Finisher CD) reached the finish line, with 39 minutes and 20 seconds. After him, Marc Salas (Albacete Master) and Julen Esteban (Izarraitz). In the women's category B, Gisela Camini (CD Aguaviva Benidorm) won with 53 minutes and 46 seconds, followed by Edurne Jordà (Aquatic les Marines) and Idoia Narbaiza (Girls On Fire Getxo CD).
Finally, in the Men's Master C category, Eduardo Porset (Galea Ur Irekiak) first swam, with a time of 44 minutes and 16 seconds. Next it was Sergio Mesa (Independent) and Ramón Gago (Claror Foundation). In category C Femenina Marina Navarro (CN Naturalswim) won with 53 minutes. After her, Mª José Martínez (Club Natación Almansa) and Miren Agurtzane Domingo (Ur Irekiak Galea).
