More than 200 housewives from all over the Community celebrate their annual meeting in Benidorm

More than 200 women from the Tyrius Association of Housewives and Consumers from municipalities throughout the Valencian Community are celebrating their annual meeting in Benidorm these days, which on this occasion is focused on ‘The power of solidarity to transform the world’. The mayor, Toni Pérez, has participated today in the opening ceremony of this annual meeting, which will take place over three days in a hotel in the city and will feature presentations by professionals and experts, interactive workshops and group dynamics. In addition, the participating women will go on cultural and leisure outings around the city.
Toni Pérez has welcomed the Tyrius members to what “is already your home”, since for some years now the entity has chosen Benidorm for its annual meetings, where “you always carry out an important training”. The mayor has applauded the chosen topic for the meeting, solidarity, which society has given a good account of in recent months due to the flood of October 29.
Paraphrasing what the president of Tyrius said on her social networks, the mayor stated that “in difficult times, solidarity is our greatest strength”, after which he stated that “solidarity must be altruistic” and “very well organized” so that “this effort and help reach where they need to go”. He also encouraged the members of Tyrius to “continue working because you are doing a great job” that has an impact “on Valencian society and your municipalities”.
