Mercasa parking is already operational for use by residents and tourists, "when only 24 hours have passed since the Cyclocross World Cup ended in the surroundings of El Moralet and Foietes park where more than 15,000 people gathered”, said the Councilor for Mobility, José Ramón González de Zárate.
The councillor indicated that "when dismantling the enclosure, priority has been given to the Mercasa area to make this important bag of parking spaces available to the public as soon as possible, key for the residents of the Madrid neighborhood." The disassembly has been complemented by the exhaustive cleaning of the entire area.
