El alcalde participa en la clausura de la asamblea de Avibe con la que celebra su 40 aniversario

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has participated this morning in the closing of the Assembly of the Association of Travel Agencies of Benidorm and Region (Avibe) underlining the fundamental role played by travel agencies when it comes to providing quality and satisfaction in the management "of something that is already irrevocable such as rest and vacations".

The mayor participated in the closing of the assembly accompanied by other members of the municipal executive and the corporation, together with the senator, Agustín Almodóbar; the director of the Provincial Tourist Board, José Mancebo; and the Secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer. The assembly took place in the CdT "Domingo Devesa" of Benidorm and served to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Association, at the end of which a commemorative plaque was delivered to the 8 presidents who have been in charge of the entity since its birth : Amadeo Sabat Nuto, Antonio Pedrajas, Norberto Beltrá, Andrés Guerrero, Francisco Antolí, Andrés Palacios, Anton Luthi, and the current president, Juan José Pérez Parker.

In his words of congratulations to Avibe, the mayor has stressed the need to "continue on the path we have already started together to reposition ourselves as leaders as a tourist destination." Toni Pérez also highlighted the work and effort that the presidents of Avibe and their boards of directors have been developing, in terms of training their associates and collaborating with public and private entities, "always participating in the development and growth of Benidorm and Marina Baixa ".
