El alcalde asiste a la presentación de los nuevos agentes en prácticas de la Policía Nacional

Sus Majestades los Reyes de España square has hosted this morning the official presentation ceremony of the 151 new trainees of the National Police, members of the XXXV Promotion of the Basic Scale, who are incorporated into the provincial police stations in Alicante , Elche, Orihuela, Denia, Alcoy, Elda and Benidorm.

The event began at 10:30 when the provincial commissioner, Ignacio del Olmo, went to receive the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and together they welcomed the government sub-delegate, Araceli Poblador. After the sounds of the national anthem, the three reviewed the police unit formed, with their banners, in the square. Representations of police forces and the judiciary, together with the municipal Corporation, occupied the head of the act. Relatives of the new agents and the public gathered on the outskirts of the square.

After reading the Order that considered them as trainee police officers for the next 11 months, before accessing the Basic Scale, the provincial commissioner and the deputy government delegate took the floor, who thanked Benidorm for hosting the event and encouraged the new police officers to persevere in the effort during the final stage of training.

After the interpretation of the National Police anthem, the authorities paid a visit to the police units stationed in the same square and spoke with the new recruited interns.

The mayor of Benidorm, after saying goodbye to the subdelegate of the Government and the police officers, together with the Commissioner of Benidorm, Ceferino Serrano, greeted the 34 intern officers incorporated into the Benidorm Police Station (30 at the Basic Scale and 4 at the Executive ), to whom he wished luck and reminded that "you are the first line in contact with the citizen", encouraging them to progress in their training "for which Benidorm is a great place", and finally pointing out that "in the surveys, what is most valued in Benidorm, above the climate and its beaches, is security ”, encouraging them to continue to do so with everyone's effort.
