Around thirty students have used the free bus provided by the City Council to transport them to La Nucía, the town where the EBAU exams are held
Just over 200 Benidorm students are taking university entrance exams starting today

Just over 200 second-year Baccalaureate students from Benidorm are taking the university entrance exams from today until Thursday, June 5th, which are being held in La Nucia once again. According to data provided by the Councillor for Education, Maite Moreno, "164 of those taking the EBAU are studying at Benidorm's five secondary schools, while the remaining 41 are from the city's private school."
The Councillor for Education noted that "as in previous years, to facilitate student travel to La Nucía, the Department of Education has set up a free bus service that, upon registration, students who wish to use it may use." This service offers one outbound and two return trips, as well as two routes: Levante and Poniente, each with six stops.
On the first day, around thirty students used this service.
Moreno wished all the students taking their university entrance exams from tomorrow through Thursday "the best of luck with these tests, which will culminate a period of training in our city and begin the path toward university education."
‘Sessió Contínua’
Since May 19, Benidorm students have had a space at the José Llorca Linares Social Centre where they can study with extended hours, as part of the "Sessió Contínua" program. Specifically, from Monday to Friday, the schedule is from 10:00 p.m.—when the centre's regular activities end—until 12:30 a.m. It will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until 12:30 p.m.
Moreno noted that "due to the different exam sessions, the "Sessió Contínua" program has two periods: the current one, which will run until June 12, and the second, from June 23 to July 10.
