As the Neighborhood Association of El Campo-Plaza España did last Friday, La Casa de Andalucía celebrated the May Cross today, a celebration deeply rooted in different Regions.
The Councilor for Fiestas, Mariló Cebreros; representatives of the local corporation; the president of the Committee of Patron Major Festivals, María Dolores Cano; and representatives of Benidorm civil society have participated in this event, in which the parish priest of the church of La Almudena, Pedro Crespo, blessed the cross adorned with flowers. A floral monument that commemorates the discovery of the Holy Cross by Saint Helena.
The president of the Regional House, Leonor Jiménez Gutiérrez and Queen Lucía Romero Sánchez, have encouraged those present to enjoy a day in a good atmosphere with music and Sevillians dance.
