Directed by Juan Manuel Montilla, 'El Langui' has featured appearances by several actors from the first 'Champions' film
Great reception for the performance of the play 'Champions 2 in the theater' at the Cultural Center

This afternoon, the auditorium of the Benidorm Cultural Centre hosted the play "Champions 2 In the Theatre. If Lorca Raised His Head..." directed by Juan Manuel Montilla ", El Langui," which arrived after the great success of the first play, "Champions of Comedy." The performance began at 7:00 p.m. with a packed audience.
Aimed at all audiences and lasting 100 minutes, the play featured, in addition to Langui himself, actors such as Alberto Nieto, Emilio Gavira, Luis Mottola, Claudia Fesser, and Gloria Ramos. The script was written by Pedro Lendínez and adapted by Daniel Díez Colinas. It was produced by Funfun Comedy and Películas Pendelton and has been supported by the Department of Culture.
Several actors from the film "Champions," winner of several Goya Awards, appeared during the performance, highlighting the full social inclusion of people with physical and intellectual disabilities.
The plot told the story of Claudia, an actress with a long career who feels she has yet to land the big role that could elevate her. One day, while working out at the gym, luck knocks. One of the greatest directors is going to direct what will be his last film, and has written the main character with her in mind. However, that character has a disability, and before making a decision, the director wants to see her.
