The Espai d’Art of the City Council exhibits the works of the XXXVII New Creators Competition
The Espai d’Art of Benidorm City Hall, located in the lobby of the Town Hall, is hosting, since Monday, the exhibition of works of the 37th Benidorm New Creators Competition, organised once again by the Department of Youth in the categories of painting and sculpture.
The exhibition will be open to the public until March 27, the date on which the jury's verdict will be announced, along with the prizes for the 2026 edition. This year, a total of 22 works are on display, 16 paintings and six sculptures, submitted by 16 artists: three men and thirteen women from Benidorm, Villajoyosa, Alicante, Albacete, Polop, Gandía, Benissa, Elche, Torrent, and Caldas de Malavella (Girona), according to sources from the department headed by Councillor Ana Soliveres.
The jury's decision will be announced, and the awards ceremony will take place on March 27th at 12:30 pm. The prize is €1,000 for each category, and a special prize of €100 will also be awarded to the best work by an artist under 18 years of age.
