Eleven schools offer this course 'Escola Matinera' and 'Vesprada' to promote conciliation

Eleven CEIP's in Benidorm offer for the next academic year 2022/2023 'Escola Matinera' and 'Vesprada', a service "of care for Infant and Primary students before and after school hours and with which the conciliation family and work is favoured”, as explained by the Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno. This service is "staffed by monitors who during the time that the students spend in the 'Escola Matinera' and 'Vesprada' are in charge of carrying out playful-educational activities, preparing sessions of board games or dynamics and the use of toys". "It is, therefore, a time that boys and girls spend playing and learning," she added.

This project, which last year was operational in five schools in Benidorm, "was born from the collaboration between the FAMPA Marina Baixa, the AMPAs of each centre, the City Council and the company that will be in charge of managing the service, Animaciones Trokoló".

In principle, 'Escola Matinera' and 'Vesprada' will be offered at CEIP La Cala, El Murtal, Miguel Hernández, Ausiàs March, Aitana, Vasco Núñez de Balboa, Bautista Lledó, Puig Campana, Els Tolls, Gabriel Miró and Eleanor Canalejas. The mayor has clarified that "in order to launch the service in any of the centres where it is offered, a minimum of 10 students is necessary", and has added that "the service can be used every day or occasionally depending on the needs".

Thus, the continued service during the 'Escola Matinera' will be 35 euros per month for families associated with the centre's AMPA and 50 euros for those not associated, while the complete service in the months of June and September will be 26 euros. In addition, you can opt for the modality of two weeks of assistance per month - which can be alternatives - for 25 euros for associated families and 40 for non-associated families: or purchase five-day vouchers for 25 and 35 euros, respectively. These same prices apply to the 'Escola de Vesprada'. Families with more than one minor user of the service will have a discount of 3.5 euros applicable only to the full month.

Moreno has advanced that "with the Municipal Cooperation Credits that the City Council makes available to all CEIPs in Benidorm, the centres will be able to subsidize attendance at the 'Escola Matinera' and 'Vesprada' for families with fewer resources"

The opening hours of the 'Escola Matinera' are from 07:30 a.m., and that of 'Vesprada' from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pre-registration can be done online from next Monday, August 1 until the 25th of that month at https://www.trokolo.com/inscripcionbenidorm. In the first week of September, families will be informed if their centre has enough students.
