Benidorm program a tight schedule of events to celebrate the World Tourism Day
Tomorrow Ferran Adrià speaks a conference in the Assembly Hall about management of a catering project
Gifts, discounts on tourist services and the 'City of Benidorm' awards, will complete the program
The Tourism Council of Benidorm and Fundación Benidorm, (Visit Benidorm), have launched various initiatives to celebrate tomorrow, the 27th, the World Tourism Day, which this year is convened under the motto "Sustainable tourism as an instrument development".
Visit Benidorm publishes today the blog https://lifeinbenidorm.com/2017/09/26/feliz-dia-mundial-del-turismo/ in which it gives account of the events scheduled to commemorate this ephemeris that starts tomorrow with a conference of Ferran Adrià, coinciding with World Tourism Day. The renowned chef, will present his guide "Mise en place", a guide for entrepreneurs to successfully start the implementation or management of a project in the catering sector. The presentation of the guide and the conference of Ferrán Adrià will open the FOCUS PYME Marina Baixa, an event that is scheduled to begin at 10 am in the Hall of Acts of the City of Benidorm.
This event is promoted by the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness with CaixaBank and the La Caixa Social Fund, FOCUS PYME and the Baixa Marine Enterprise and organized by the municipalities of Benidorm and l'Alfàs del Pi; the European Center for Innovative Enterprises (CEEI) in Elche; Invattur; the business associations Jovempa, AICO, Abreca-Cobreca and Memba; and Club Empresarial La Marina.
The blog of Visit Benidorm, in addition to congratulating the World Tourism Day, informs that the hashtag or label used to make the widest possible dissemination and identify our destination with that celebration, will be # DMTBENIDORM2017.
Among the planned activities is the delivery of gifts at the Plaza Canalejas Tourism Office, 1, until stocks last, and special services and discounts at companies collaborating with the event, such as Tao Bike, which offers free guided mini-ride on electric bicycles by the Natural Park of Sierra Helada. During day 27 there will be two exits 12: 00h and 13: 00h minimum 5 people, max 15 people and a discount of 50% in bicycle rentals during World Tourism Day. Poseidon Hotels, meanwhile, offers a 10% discount on reservations made on 09/27/2017 for stays until September 27, 2018, with the promotional code: "Tourism". In turn, the company Amigo24, offers its collaboration with electric mobility vehicle with the Office of Tourism during the day of September 27.
Another event planned for the coming days will be the delivery of the "City of Benidorm" tourism awards, which this year have fallen on the UK issuing market, in the international category; in Dinapsis, a research reference center linked to Hidraqua and Grupo Suez, in the national category; in the local-autonomous category, the project 'LDV Positive Disrupters' has been awarded, in which students from the Lope de Vega school in Benidorm have participated, proposing measures against tourism of excesses and in favor of healthy experiences and, finally, special mention to the presenter of TV Andreu Buenafuente, for the projection of the image of Benidorm through its program 'Late Motiv' of Movistar.
