Benidorm is positioned as an ideal destination for film productions and cyclists
The Nantes Spanish Film Festival has been working since 1990 to raise awareness of the variety of Spanish cinema through thematic cycles that mix social news, history and formal innovation. On the screens of Katorza cinemas and at the rate of twenty sessions per day, the Festival offers a faithful audience (30,000 spectators in 2018) about 70 feature films and short films (fictions, documentaries or animated films), mostly unpublished in France.
For this 29th edition (March 28 - April 7, 2019), the Festival will have the pleasure of receiving the actor Javier Bardem as part of the tribute that will be paid to him.
The city of Benidorm, wrapped by Costa Blanca brand, will be present throughout the festival and specifically in Cosmopolis Space with an information stand in which you will take advantage of to promote the benefits of Benidorm and of course to promote air connections Nantes - Alicante with Volotea and Vueling.
At a professional level, during the festival days, Visit Benidorm will seek to make contacts and disseminate information about Benidorm among all the press media attending, as well as directors and producers of Spanish cinema with the intention of capturing new audiovisual productions in the city.
This is not the only Street Marketing in which Benidorm has participated in the last few days, since last weekend, the Foundation traveled to Vienna in order to continue promoting the cyclist offer of the city that claims so much for the public Austrian.
In this case it was the "Argus Bike Festival" in Vienna, an event held since 1992 under the name of "The Days of the Bicycle and in which Benidorm has participated in the hand of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana and Turespaña.
According to the organization of the event, the Argus Bike Festival, has become not only the largest outdoor cycling event in Austria but also in Europe. More than 100,000 people have gathered this first weekend of April at the ArgusBike Festival, where Benidorm has shared a booth under the umbrella brand of tourspain with other destinations such as Menorca and Galicia.
Benidorm is still committed to strengthening the positioning not only of bicycle tourism in Benidorm but also everything related to outdoor activities, active tourism and adventure tourism, such as hiking, diving and water sports.
