About twenty businesses will sell their stocks for three days with discounts of 50% or more at Plaza de SS MM los Reyes de España
Benidorm hosts a new edition of the Outlet Fair this weekend
The square of SS MM los Reyes de España, where Benidorm City Council is located, will host this weekend a new edition of the Outlet Fair, organized by the Independent Association of Merchants of Benidorm, AICO, in collaboration with the Department of Commerce. The councilor of the department, Javier Jordá, presented all the details of the fair this Tuesday together with the president of this business group, Raúl Parra, and has invited the residents of Benidorm and other parts of the region to “attend this event, where they will not only be able to discover part of the commercial offer that we have in our city but also benefit from important discounts.”
The president of AICO has explained that in this edition around twenty local establishments will participate, which will display their 'stock' distributed throughout about 30 tents. The products will cover a wide commercial range: from fashion or footwear to sporting goods, household appliances, textiles, or home goods. "The objective is to be able to empty our warehouses for the Christmas campaign, so all items for sale will have a minimum discount of 50%," added Parra, who also highlighted that, in addition to serving as a showcase of local commerce, "the fair is also an attraction for many people from the region or province to come to Benidorm, spend the day here and also end up buying or consuming in other establishments in the city."
The doors of this commercial event will open on Friday morning. Both this day and Saturday, the fair's hours will be extended between 10:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., while on Sunday it will also open from 10:30 a.m. but will advance the closing time to 8 p.m., as explained by Vine.
During this time, in addition to the products at discounted prices, the public will also find children's inflatables and a bar, which will be managed by the Comissió de Festes Majors Patronals, with the aim that “all family members are comfortable and "It's a party for them to come visit us," according to the person in charge of AICO.
Among the main novelties this year, Javier Jordá and Raúl Parra have explained that people who make purchases in any of the establishments at the fair will obtain one hour of free parking in L'Aigüera Municipal Parking for the purchases. “It is another way of providing facilities to people,” said Raúl Parra, who thanked the City Council for its “collaboration and involvement” with this event. For his part, councilor Javier Jordá hoped that this fair “will be, once again, a success for the merchants who are going to participate and also for the commercial fabric of the city.”
