Benidorm celebrates World Youth Day with students taking part in the 2026 Summer Activities Programme

Benidorm City Council’s Youth Department organised an activity today, Wednesday, to mark World Youth Day. Early in the morning, the 33 young people taking part in the summer programme organised by the department gathered in the square of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain.

There, together with their respective monitors, they arranged themselves to form the word ‘Juventud’, lying on the ground to create what are commonly known as human letters or body alphabet. After completing the activity, they headed to the Youth Information Centre, where they attended a talk about the significance of the day and the activities organised by the Youth Department
