The Salon Mondial du Tourisme à Paris (MAP) is held in Paris from the 16th to the 19th of March and is the most important public tourism fair in the French capital. The MAP Salon celebrates its 43rd edition in 2017 and in its last edition counted on 108,000 visitors, of whom 2,168 were professionals and 535 journalists.
Visit Benidorm goes hand in hand with the Comunitat Valenciana within the Turespaña stand and during the three days of the fair will attend to the visiting public in order to arouse their interest in coming to discover the capital of the Costa Blanca.
France is the second international issuer for the Valencian Community, both in terms of tourist volume and total expenditure, and the French tourist reached a record number of 1,058,830 tourists to our community in 2015 (an increase of + 14.4% the previous year).
It is important that Benidorm is present in this type of events, in order to keep loyal to the French public, a market of proximity that is showing more interest in Benidorm and the Costa Blanca.
