Employment and Local Promotion allocates 60,000 euros to this call, open until the end of October and with which administrative staff, rent and supplies can be financed
Benidorm announces grants of up to 9,000 euros to collaborate with the expenses of business entities
One more year, Benidorm City Council is going to call for aid to collaborate with the labour and operating expenses of the associations formed by companies and/or entrepreneurs from Benidorm. The Local Government Board (JGL) yesterday approved the bases for this aid, which "reach up to 9,000 euros per entity and with which the Department of Employment and Local Promotion contributes to financing concepts such as administrative staff costs, the rent of the premises or establishment of the headquarters of the association or the supply of water and electricity”, as explained by the mayor of the department, Mónica Gómez.
Gómez recalled that these subsidies are aimed at non-profit business and entrepreneurial associations in Benidorm, which have a stable establishment or premises, are active and open to the public during business hours and carry out support activities for entrepreneurs and city companies.
The councillor has remarked that "the main objective of these grants is to help maintain jobs, administrative staff, directly generated by these entities."
As in the last edition, "60,000 euros have been set aside for these aids and those of the personnel in charge of administrative and management tasks, rent and electricity and water remain as eligible expenses".
Applications can be processed online, (https://sede.benidorm.org) from the day after the publication of the bases in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) and until October 31
Gómez has pointed out that "one of the great lines of action of the Employment and Local Promotion Agency is the promotion and support of entrepreneurship, either with direct actions such as advice or management of spaces in the municipal Coworking, or through calls for grants like these, with which we give support to those entities that are firmly committed to entrepreneurs and that generate employment”.
