Anémona celebrates its VI Trail 'Por Ellas Costablanca' on June 12 on the new El Moralet trails

On the occasion of its twentieth anniversary, the association against breast cancer 'Anémona Marina Baixa' will hold a new edition on June 12, the sixth, of the charity trail 'For them', which will run through the Parque de Foietes and the trails of El Moralet.

The objective of this solidarity race is to raise funds for the association, as well as to publicize and promote its projects. The day will have two tests: a seven-kilometre hiker start, which will start at ten in the morning and the 10K trail that will start a quarter of an hour later.

There will also be a one kilometer ‘mini trail’ starting at 11:30 a.m. The start of all the tests will be from the Parque de Foietes and will run along the new paths of El Moralet, which are being improved as they are included in the EDUSI and will be released on the occasion of the celebration of this activity.

The Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, has highlighted the "suitability" of the trail being held in this area "because it will allow you to enjoy an improved and adapted area in a green lung of the city thanks to all the actions that are being carried out in the last months".

The mayor has valued that Anémona serves to kick off "this environmental recovery project that has 17 kilometers of trails for walkers or mountain biking fans" which, although not yet fully completed, "already allows carry out activities such as this solidarity trail”.

Organized by the Ultra Trail Club of Benidorm, the day aims to become a sports festival in which everyone will be winners. As in any other race, there will be winners in each category, but the aim is for the participants to feel part of the event, practice sports as a family, promote healthy lifestyle habits and promote values ​​and attitudes related to coexistence and solidarity through sport. .

To do this, runners and walkers collaborate, through the economic contribution of their registration, with different projects carried out by the institution to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable people.

Anémona wants this race to last over time and be repeated every year along the paths of El Moralet. The association will also promote the recreational and family aspect after the race with the organization of activities for children, sports, music, cafeteria, etc. In short, a great opportunity to create solidarity.

Registration for any of the tests can be made from www.mychip.es or from the Anémona offices in Benidorm. The price for the 10K trail and the hiking trail will be 10 euros, while participation in the mini trail will be 5 euros. The awards ceremony will take place at 12 noon.
