The Agency for Employment and Local Development and AVIBE promote new training activities

The Delegate Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mª Jesús Pinto, together with the president of the Business Association of Travel Agencies of Benidorm (AVIBE), Juan José Pérez Parker, attended the second session of the Workshop "Social Networks Applied to the Tourism Sector "and they have presented their corresponding diplomas to the attendees.

The workshop "Social Networks Applied to the Tourism Sector" is part of the Program for the Promotion of Qualification and Training in the tourism sector of the city of Benidorm, which the Employment and Local Development Agency of Benidorm has drawn up at the request of the association AVIBE.

"On August 28, our mayor, Toni Pérez, signed the agreement with AVIBE, which has allowed to launch this specific training program, aimed at professionals in the travel agency sector, collecting a demand from AVIBE itself and to which they have been able to welcome both members of this association, as well as other interested people, "explained the councilwoman María Jesús Pinto. The programmed workshops were directed to management in Social Networks, communication or commercial strategies. "The reception of this initiative," he added, "is taking place for the second year in a row, and is quite broad, which encourages us to continue offering specific training to the citizens of our city, with the aim of improving Benidorm companies "

This program began on September 25 and will continue on October 25 and November 27 with the workshops "How to Speak in Public" and "Skills of Sales and Marketing" respectively.
