The actress Beatriz Rico and her play 'Before dead than convicted' arrive this Friday, July 22, at the Óscar Esplá amphitheatre in Parque de l'Aigüera at the hands of the Department of Culture, directed by Jaime Jesús Pérez. The text written by Rico with the collaboration of Salomón and Pepa Rus -who also lends her voice-over- is a monologue or "one-man work", as the actress herself describes it, full of humour and which has been on tour for five years throughout Spain.

The mayor of Culture has reported that "the performance will begin at 10:00 p.m. and admission is free by invitation." The invitations, with a maximum of two per person and until capacity is reached, can be collected on Thursday the 21st and Friday the 22nd at the Department of Culture, located on the third floor of the City Hall, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Pérez has pointed out that 'Antes muerta que convicta' is "the first of the three theatrical proposals that we have included in the summer cultural program, with open-air performances and with proposals aimed at different types of audiences, from children to the general public".

The councillor has invited "all the people who want to enjoy a night of theatre and humour, with a play that has been successful for five years throughout the Spanish geography, to approach the Culture department to collect their ticket".

Plot
'Antes muerta que convicta' focuses on Carolina, who has escaped prison doing social work, while her husband, a successful businessman, remains locked up. It is then that she sees the perfect moment to fulfil her dream: to compete in a television program and become famous "whatever it is".
