Now, thanks to the Low Emissions Zone already implemented, it has become a reference city for taking sustainable urban mobility to the highest level.
What is a Low Emission Zone?
It is an area delimited by the City Council to regulate the access, circulation and parking of vehicles to improve air quality and reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. The goal is to create healthier and safer spaces.

What is a Benidorm Low Emissions Zone like?

What vehicles will be able to access?
All vehicles belonging to residents of the Low Emissions Zone, urban transport and vehicles with special authorization.
Will it be possible to access a vehicle without an environmental label?
A vehicle without an environmental label and residing or being registered within the Low Emissions Zone, access will also be possible. They will be granted an annual moratorium that can be renewed by Benidorm City Council.
What other exceptions does the LEZ have?
It also considers the regulation of exceptions to allow temporary and/or punctual access, processing the corresponding request.
This authorization will be carried out by an application.
