Tourism Sustainability Plan in Destinations 'Benidorm DTI + Seguro'

The Program of Tourism Sustainability Plans in Destinations is the main intervention instrument of the Spanish Tourism Administration led by the Secretary of State for Tourism to promote the transformation of Spanish tourist destinations towards sustainability.

This Plan is financed by the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and the Autonomous Communities and local entities whose projects are selected to obtain this co-financing participate in it. The objective of the program is to move towards the transformation of tourist destinations towards a model based on environmental, socioeconomic and territorial sustainability.

Benidorm intends with this plan to cover part of the entire strategy that has been carried out in the city of Benidorm to be more sustainable, smart and safe. That is why the possible expected results of each have been analyzed. One of the programmed actions takes into account the results to be achieved as a priority.
