The fourth fortnight of activities of "Summer 2020" program of the Youth Council, has come to an end today with a visit to the Roman "Castellum" of Tossal de La Cala, recently museumized by the Historical Heritage department.

Given the occasion, the thirty young people and their monitors have been accompanied during the tour by the Councilor for Youth, Jaime Jesús Pérez, and those responsible for Historical Heritage and Sports, Ana Pellicer and Mariló Cebreros.

Jaime Jesús Pérez thanked the 120 children and young people for participating in the activity in a program that he described as "very positive" and that he is "proud to organize year after year." The Councilor for Youth has reviewed the activities in which the members of the fortnightly groups have spent their time: workshops, cultural itineraries, sports, games, hiking, cooking, German language, board and role-playing games, cinema forums or intelligence activities emotional issues related to the environment and information and communication technologies.

The head of Youth has been satisfied because "we have been able to deepen - he underlined - in the knowledge of the origins, roots and culture of our municipality through the visits that have been made to the Castell de Benidorm, the Museum ' Boca del Calvari ', a l'Hort de Colón and also today, the last day, with a visit to the recently museumized Tossal de La Cala ”.

Jaime Jesús Pérez hopes that "all the children have enjoyed the activities" and 2020 has invited them to "continue with us" collaborating with the actions that have been planned by Youth for the rest of the year and, of course, to sign up for the Summer 2021 edition.
