The students of the Employment Workshop 'Benidorm VII' begin the repairs of the central corridor of the Parque de l'Aigüera
The students of the Employment Workshop 'Benidorm VII' of 'Auxiliary operations of rigid finishes and urbanization' have begun the work of paving the central aisle of the Parque de l'Aigüera between Óscar Esplá and Julio Iglesias, such and as the mayor, Toni Pérez, and the Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mª Jesús Pinto, have confirmed today.
These ten students, who join the other ten in the specialty of 'auxiliary operations of administrative and general services, began the training phase at the end of December and are now starting work.
With this action, the arrangement of the entire pavement of the section between the Plaza SSMM Reyes de España and Julio Iglesias is completed, after the previous year the auditorium of both auditoriums was renewed. In addition, through other employment programs, action was also taken to cover the low levels of the central walkway fountains to improve accessibility, and to prevent falls and the proliferation of mosquitoes.
The Employment Workshop 'Benidorm VII' involves 20 people, 10 per specialty, all of them over 25 years of age in unemployment. The workshop, which will run until the end of the year, has a grant of 399,660 euros from the European Social Fund, through Labora, of the Directorate General for Employment and Training of the Generalitat, to which 70,642.70 euros of the Municipal budget.
